These Terms & Conditions govern use of the Holiday Haven Christmas Light Installation website and describe general conditions relevant to inquiries and holiday-lighting services. Project-specific pricing, scope, timing, warranty details, payment requirements, and other service terms may also appear in an estimate, proposal, invoice, work authorization, or separate written agreement. If a project-specific document conflicts with these general website terms, the project-specific written terms control for that project.
1. Website Use
You may use this website for lawful purposes related to learning about Holiday Haven, reviewing service information, requesting an estimate, or contacting us. You may not use the site to distribute malware, submit fraudulent requests, interfere with website operation, attempt unauthorized access, scrape the site in a manner that materially disrupts service, or misuse forms and contact systems.
2. Estimates and Project Scope
Website descriptions are general. The exact scope of a Christmas light installation depends on the property, access conditions, roofline and landscape features, requested design, materials, electrical availability, timing, safety considerations, and any optional services selected. A quote or proposal may be revised if the requested scope changes or if previously unknown site conditions materially affect the work.
Unless specifically included in writing, examples shown on the website do not promise that every property will receive the same number of lights, decorations, installation method, completion time, or visual result.
3. Scheduling and Seasonal Availability
Holiday lighting is seasonal and appointment capacity is limited. Requested dates are subject to crew availability, material readiness, property access, weather, and prior commitments. Holiday Haven may adjust an appointment when conditions make installation, maintenance, or removal unsafe or impractical. We will make reasonable efforts to communicate schedule changes using the contact information provided by the customer.
4. Customer Responsibilities and Property Access
The customer is responsible for providing accurate project and contact information, identifying known property restrictions, and providing reasonable access to the areas included in the approved work. Before scheduled service, customers should address known hazards and disclose conditions that could affect safe access, including locked gates, animals, fragile surfaces, restricted areas, damaged structures, or unusual electrical conditions.
The customer is also responsible for confirming any HOA, landlord, property-management, municipal, or other permissions that apply to the requested display unless Holiday Haven expressly agrees in writing to handle a specific approval.
5. Electrical Supply and Existing Property Conditions
Holiday lighting requires suitable electrical power. Existing outlets, circuits, timers, GFCI devices, wiring, roof components, gutters, landscaping, or other property features remain subject to their pre-existing condition and capacity. Holiday Haven may recommend a change in layout or decline to use a location that appears unsafe or unsuitable. Electrical repair, structural repair, tree work, roofing repair, or other trades are not included unless specifically stated in writing.
6. Installation Materials and Display Design
Holiday Haven may use commercial-grade lighting, custom-cut roofline components, clips, extension wiring, timers, wreaths, garland, tree or shrub lighting, and other display elements appropriate to the approved design. The specific mix depends on the project. Small variations in spacing, color appearance, brightness, landscaping growth, or viewing angle can occur and do not necessarily indicate defective workmanship.
7. Seasonal Maintenance and Repair
When maintenance is included with an installation, Holiday Haven will address covered lighting or installation issues according to the applicable project terms and scheduling availability. Coverage may not include damage caused by unauthorized alteration, third-party work, animals, vandalism, construction, severe weather, electrical faults outside our work, customer-supplied materials, or other conditions beyond the approved installation scope.
Customers should report an issue promptly and avoid climbing, disconnecting, moving, or modifying installed components if doing so could create a safety risk or make the problem harder to diagnose.
8. Removal and Storage
Removal and storage are provided only when included in the applicable service arrangement. Removal timing is subject to seasonal scheduling and safe access. If storage is included, Holiday Haven may organize and retain project components for future seasonal use. Stored lighting is intended for the associated customer project and should not be treated as general-purpose personal storage unless a written agreement states otherwise.
9. Payments, Deposits, and Cancellations
Payment timing, deposits, accepted payment methods, cancellation terms, and any refund conditions are determined by the estimate, invoice, or project agreement. Because seasonal capacity and project materials may be reserved in advance, cancellation or rescheduling can affect amounts already due or paid. Customers should review the project-specific terms before approving work.
10. Weather and Events Beyond Reasonable Control
Rain, wind, storms, freezing conditions, power interruptions, emergencies, supply interruptions, access restrictions, government actions, or other events beyond reasonable control can affect installation, service calls, removal, or website availability. Holiday Haven is not responsible for delay caused by circumstances that cannot reasonably be prevented, but we may reschedule affected work when practical.
11. Website Content and Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise noted, the website’s original text, branding, layout, graphics, photographs, design elements, and other content are owned by or licensed to Holiday Haven and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may view and share public page links for ordinary personal or business-reference purposes. You may not copy substantial website content, remove ownership notices, impersonate Holiday Haven, or commercially republish protected material without permission.
12. Third-Party Services
The website may use or link to third-party services such as LeadConnector forms, maps, analytics, hosting providers, review platforms, payment tools, or social networks. Holiday Haven is not responsible for the independent operation, terms, privacy practices, or availability of a third-party service. Your use of those services may be governed by separate third-party terms.
13. Website Availability and Information Accuracy
We work to keep website information useful and current, but the site is provided on an as-available basis. Service areas, phone information, images, availability, pricing examples, seasonal timing, or other details may change. Website content should not be treated as a guarantee of a specific project result or available appointment until confirmed in writing.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Holiday Haven is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses arising solely from use of the public website or from reliance on general website information. Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibility that cannot legally be excluded. Any service-related liability is also subject to the terms of the applicable project agreement and applicable law.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
These general website Terms are intended to be interpreted under the laws applicable to Holiday Haven’s operations in Georgia, United States, without overriding any consumer right that cannot legally be waived. Before starting formal proceedings, the parties are encouraged to communicate in good faith and attempt to resolve service questions directly.
16. Changes to These Terms
Holiday Haven may update these Terms & Conditions when the website, services, or business practices change. The date shown at the top identifies the current version. Updated Terms apply to subsequent website use, while an already-approved project remains governed by the written terms applicable to that project unless both sides agree otherwise.
